Hi All, We have an opening for Web Developer (Architect) in New Jersey.
Duration: Long Term Rate: 40-45$/hr Visa: H1/EAD/GC/US Citizen Information Architect to work directly with clients and Account Service and Production team members to develop the best possible user experience for web applications such as intranet/extranets, marketing oriented websites, content management, etc . The role will require evaluating web site applications for performance optimization from a business rules perspective, determining web site needs, suggesting reorganization or restructuring of content and/or augmentation of features. This position requires an individual with extensive practical experience creating content inventories, site layouts, site maps, page schematics, HTML prototypes, and wire frames. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients and Account Service team members to evaluate the usability of client applications and websites. • Present results of usability analyses to project teams and client representatives with findings and recommendations. • Plan the UI design/usability elements of software development projects, including negotiating common milestones and deliverables with other teams and delegating portions of work to production staff. • Design, create, conduct and evaluate usability tests. Communicate results and recommendations based on customer tests and generally use results to influence methods, standards and designs. • Consult with Project Managers and software development leads to develop product concepts and requirements. • Write detailed UI specifications for final design and advise developers during development phase. • Develops and documents information structures, navigation structures, and interaction models for assigned projects. • Documents all deliverables - User Profiles, UI Spec, Site Maps, Information Architecture, Screen decks, wireframes, etc. Technical Skills: • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio). • Strong knowledge of: HTML, DHTML, and the capabilities of Web browsers across multiple platforms and new technologies. • Graphic design experience a plus. Experience Level: • 5+ years in-depth knowledge of the following: information architecture and user-centered design processes, techniques and tools, writing, interactive design, interface design, and usability.
