*Job Description*:
- Statistical analysis of payment card data to derive answers to business
questions and aid in decision making
- Build, test and validate statistical models within the Microsoft SQL
Server 2005/2008 Analysis Services environment
- Predictive modeling with at least 2 different data mining algorithms
within the Microsoft Analysis Services environment
- Regularly monitoring multiple deployed models’ performance
- Perform ETL tasks to populate data within the Microsoft SQL Server
environment and Unix SAS environment
*Essential Skills:*
- Master’s Degree level in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other
quantitative discipline
- 5 or more years statistical analysis experience using Unix SAS
- At least one year statistical analysis experience using Microsoft SQL
Server 2005/2008 (including SSAS) preferred
- At least one year experience in statistical modeling and data mining
techniques including neural networks, regression trees, etc. involving
multiple variables and large datasets
- Proficiency in creating reports, charts, documents, and other tasks
using Microsoft Office software
- Familiarity with Unix commands
- Familiarity with ETL procedures using MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with SAS model development procedures desirable
- Familiarity with C# and XML programming a plus, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical development
teams and business managers
