------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Position: Windows server and Windows DNS administration Location(State/city):Texas TX/Woodland Duration: 5 months Required Details: (Planning for deletion/cleanup of stale records, ensuring required name resolution works for users and application servers with correction to DNS forwarders and Zone replication mechanisms) AD Replication and working with KCC connection objects to correct the problems AD can experience using manually created connection objects) Exchange/AD sites and services interaction for providing correct failover mechanisms DHCP Server Migration (implementation of Auxiliary server or Role migration experience) File Server Migration with Security Translation (migration software experience such as ADMT, Quest, or NetIQ) Printer server and printer migration (understanding of drivers and driver incompatibilities with Windows Server 2008) Applications: ability to gather information on Application Authentication mechanisms, and implementation of acceptable/usable authentication methods for that application in new domain Identity Management: Ability to review existing ID management practices in Microsoft ILM which could involve some code review to look at the extensions or custom scripts that modify AD data.
