*Duration: 6 Months* *Position: Assoc Technical Support Rep * *Rate $20 ro 21/hr on 1099.* ** *Part time job: 20 hours per week, and may (or may not) become full time, i.e. 40 hours per week.* ** *Job Description:** **We are looking to fill 2 part time shifts: *** *6am - 10am Saturday - Wednesday (Thursday/Friday as days off)* *1:30p - 5:30p Monday - Friday (Saturday/Sunday as days off)* The qualified candidate must be punctual; able to work in a stressful environment; Customer oriented; good/clear phone voice; self motivated; adept at learning new technical software and hardware; ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more periodically; able to bend, stoop, kneel, or sit for an extended period of time. The qualified candidate will be responsible for using identified troubleshooting resources i.e., TechInfo and Knowledge Management (in-house knowledge base). Responsibilities also include: listening to Customer concerns; identifying the technical need and troubleshooting in order to resolve the Customer's issue; logging calls into ticket tracking system (Remedy); escalating to second level support groups when necessary.
