Job Title : ETL Developer Location : Chicago,IL Duration : 6+ Month Contract Job Description: The Data Warehouse Developer role will help with developing enhancements to the Data warehouse. This person will also play a key role in developing the data integration solutions for the pre-clearing trade data integration. Individual will be responsible for designing the solution and ETL mappings for data integration using Informatica or PL/SQL. Person should have strong background in Data Warehousing, dimensional modeling and Oracle (PL/SQL) development to integrate Informatica processes to work in conjunction with existing PL/SQL ETL processes. Responsibilities: Integration Tasks Design strategy to Globex Trade Data with Quotes, Orders and Market Data to provide new analytical capabilities Develop ETL maps using Informatica or PL/SQL Follow best practices in data warehouse design/development/testing Perform all unit testing and some level of QA testing to ensure results are as the business expects. Design documentation Document design decisions following BI methodology Document best practices for tool usage strategy comparing Java, PL/SQL vs. Informatica Provide solution options and recommendations on how to integrate the trade and order data. Provide documentation on the new analytical capabilities that will be reached through the Development and manage cross team scheduling standards and thread management (Manage Cross Team Runbook) Design/Develop Shared Error/exception/reject management handling *Skill sets required: 5+ Years developing Informatica or PL/SQL solutions in a Unix/Linux environment 2+ Years developing using informatica 2+ Years developing reporting solutions using Business Objects or Crystal Reports Experience in ETL, data modeling data warehouse design Experience with high volume datasets from various sources (Cobol, Text Files, XML, Relational) Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing using or PL/SQL Experience using Informatica integrated with web services Experience in developing and documenting environment setup processes, procedures and shared components Experience supporting multi-team environments Experience with general scheduling tools such as UC4 * *Skills: Name Required Importance Level Last Used Experience * *PL/SQL Yes 1 Expert 9-10 Currently Using 2 - 4 Years * *Additional Skills: Informatica - Expert 9-10, Currently Using, 4-6 years* Thanks & Regards, Eric Hoffman | Technical Recruiter CAT Technology, Inc.
