Position: PL/SQL APIs Developer Location(State/city):Florida FL/JACKSONVILLE Duration: 6+ months Required Details: Required Level Experience: Application programming interfaces (APIs) - Extensive Experience 6-10 yrs PL/SQL - Extensive Experience 6-10 yrs Diamond - IT not required but those with some exp will get preference Responsibilities : Duties Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products Write code for system designs that span platforms Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to technical team and client Requirements Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures Advanced experience programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 10G Advanced experience in Diamond core functionality Experience with Diamond third party tools preferred (i.e., ClaimCheck, Optimizer, DRG Grouper, APC Pricer) PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) Demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query language Demonstrated experience using debugging tools Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (i.e., Clearcase) Demonstrated experience using a report-writing tool (e.g., Crystal Reports, IQ, etc) Healthcare industry knowledge (nice to have) Experience with RUP methodology and Rational tools Experience using Powerbuilder, TOAD, SQL Navigator Name Additional skills: Ability to function in a mainframe environment.
