Able to work well with business customers and IT partners. 2. Technically proficient in core technologies and methodologies used by the team. 3. Able to work with minimum direction. 4. Able to plan and manage his/her own work. 5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities: 1. Design and write formal test plans and test specifications to address unit, system and integration testing. 2. Execute detailed test procedures, manual or automatic, designed to validate application functional requirements 3. Ensure that software requirements are verifiable and quantifiable 4. Writes test plans and build test cases with direct involvement from business customers 5. Creates and maintains automated test scripts 6. Documents defects in a tracking system 7. Uses automated testing tools 8. Ensure that reliability considerations have been adequately addressed during the development life cycle 9. Contributes to efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving light to medium-complex business problems. 10. Develops light to medium-complex programs and systems in support of software quality assurance processes and objectives. 11. Contributes to and supports the corporation's quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporation's quality improvement efforts. 12. Provide project information to the project manager and lead developer 13. Provide updates to Management as required 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
