**IBM/Cognos TM1 Consultant
Client is currently seeking IBM/Cognos TM1 consultants in Portland Oregan
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience
working with IBM/Cognos Financial Performance Management (FPM) tools.
Overall experience should be a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive
successful accomplishments for their employer and their clients.
Minimum Requirements:
IBM/Cognos TM1 Consultant
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience
working with IBM/Cognos Financial Performance Management (FPM) tools.
Overall experience should be a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive
successful accomplishments for their employer and their clients.
Required Experience and Skills:
Extensive experience with IBM Cognos TM1 (Applix) tools including IBM Cognos
TM1 Web and IBM Cognos TM1 Executive Viewer
A minimum of 5 years experience in the Finance/Accounting area.
Three (3) years minimum experience implementing IBM Cognos TM1
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required, preferably
in the Finance or Accounting areas.
Ability to travel within our client region is required.
Additional Desired Skills Include:
Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements,
Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training
Cognos TM1 product certification a strong plus.
Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning a plus
Cognos Business Intelligence tool experience a plus.
Ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers
Excellent analytical and research skills
Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while
adding value to cross-functional teams
Responsibilities:
Candidates must have excellent business consulting experience and a strong
balance between business, technical and project management techniques. They
must also demonstrate the ability to implement application solutions
including:
Gathering and analyzing business requirements
Participating in determining standards and best practices
Partnering with an implementation team
Transferring knowledge to the clients
