MUST HAVE: STRONG DEVELOPMENT SKILLS. Must have experience in a lead role. Bio-Informatics a plus Expert programming skills in the following technologies: ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Visio 2003, Visual CE, DHTML, HTML, XML, SQL Server 2005, Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, MS Visual Studio.Net 2003 & 2005, and C#. Working knowledge of operating systems and web systems. Experience performing system and integration testing within a structured environment. Experience working within a formal software development process. Desired knowledge, experience, and skills Microsoft certifications are a Plus. Experience working within the Rational Unified Process (RUP). Experience with health care and public health. Our client is currently looking for an Access Developer to privide support in the following areas: 1. Design responsibilities for new systems by applying best practices and industry-standard design patterns. 2. Development and programming responsibilities for new and existing systems based on user and project management input 3. Programming functionality or modifications to existing systems and other supporting applications 4. Development, maintenance and revisions of underlying database tables and stored procedures. 5. Development and programming responsibilities to ensure successful transition of all or portions of legacy data to new systems. 6. Programming adjustments as necessary to ensure system performance and accuracy. 7. Programming object oriented structures 8. Programming to security standards and validations 9. Defect correction and appropriate regression testing of the application. 10. Development and testing of application and integration of functionality as needed to ensure compliance with CDC and HHS standards. 11. Designing solutions, class structures and modeling databases against requirements and project management input. 12. System and integration testing and assistance with User Acceptance Testing. 13.
