*Title: Documentum Technical Developer* *Skills: Documentum 6, 6.5, Oracle, Linux, JBoss, Perl, J2EE, SOA* *Description:* *Documentum Technical Developer - San Jose, CA (3 months)* The Documentum Developer works with IT and Business leads to provide expertise in Web Content Management solutions, with a focus on business process design/redesign, solution design, acceptance testing, and development. This role may engage independently with a client to provide solution advice and oversight, or may participate on a project team as a developer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Provide technical and design input on Documentum products to ensure development of content management solutions meeting business specification. Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes, and develops and recommends technical solutions. Provide technical solution scoping and Detail Design. Provide client and project management on smaller projects and generate high-quality project documentation, such as project plans, design documents, test plans, etc. Assist in application customizations and technical implementations using structured techniques. Communicate status of assignments accurately to project and delivery management. *Education and Experience:* Bachelors degree in IT related field (or equivalent work experience) 5+ years experience with Documentum suite of technologies including JAVA/J2EE programming is required 5 years relevant work experience in leading and implementing enterprise solutions using Documentum technology in a Service Oriented Architecture with business services integration Solid technical foundation in EMC/Documentum installation and configuration Successful experience scaling Documentum products for enterprise utilization *Qualifications * Documentum 6 platform experience is required. Documentum 6.5 platform experience preferred. Experience with object-oriented analysis & design and agile development methodologies is a must Experience designing, developing and supporting applications using: (Required) 1. Documentum Development tools 2. Documentum Foundation Services 3. Documentum's Business Objects Framework 4. Web services 5. Java. *Required Experience:* 1. Oracle 2. Linux 3. JBoss 4. Perl 5. J2EE 6.
