*Position Title* – Dot Net Developer (Trading Exp Required)
*Location* – NYC, NY (Face to Face Interview)
*Duration* – 6 Months
*Pay Rate* – $550/Day (All Inclusive on C2C)

*Description*
The developer will be required to take a lead role in the development of a
shared component platform for use by the trading applications and services
in the bank. The shared component platform will be used to establish a
Service Oriented Architecture across all product lines for client and
proprietary trading. This role requires understanding of Trading systems.
Candidates should have in-depth deliverables experience in a wide range of
systems both from a core technical perspective and a business functionality
perspective. Project delivery experience and track record is essential and
expected.
*Deliverables Include:*
• Develop common components for messaging, entitlements, market price and
other areas leveraging existing platform technologies.
• Conduct Performance tests around vendor and in-house development
components, feeding into the recommendation process for standards tools.
• Build Web service data model components aimed at establishing a unified
data model and mediation layer.
• Assist application developers with optimization components to achieve the
necessary performance requirements for our low latency traders.
• Managed and Implement assigned projects.
*Qualifications:*
Required:
• 5+ years of experience within financial services industry.
• 5+ years experience in NET.
• Work experience as a software programmer/ developer.
• Understanding the system performance principal
• Demonstrated network programming skills, including multi-threaded
programming.
• Program & system design expertise and track record
• Domain knowledge in trading systems at large financial services firms.
• Understand the link between business needs and technical requirements.
• Background in analysis, design and delivery of successful software
applications.
• Experience designing and delivering applications for high availability,
scalability and high performance.
• Experience in building a product and then taking it to market.
• Track record of dealing with disparate development teams regarding a broad
spectrum of business clients and application demands.
• Effective communication skills across global teams at all levels from
senior management to junior developers.

Desired:*
• Business knowledge in Investment Bank Trading across different product
lines.
• Expertise of front office trading environments.
• Knowledge of one or more areas of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives,
Prime Services with the relevant industry messaging standards knowledge.
• System programming experience
• API design experience and component framework standards.
• Web Service experience using industry standard frameworks. Good
understanding of XML and XML Schemas.
• Message systems experience with publish/subscribe topics and queuing
technology.
• Expert skills in .NET with full low-level understanding of the platform.
• Good understanding of the CLR, including garbage collection behavior and
optimizing for performance in latency sensitive environments.
• Able to work with the Microsoft Product Line teams as part of the
Microsoft Front Line program.
• Experience with WCF. Understanding of the WCF architecture, custom channel
adapters.
• Experience with WPF, data-binding, ViewModel pattern, application
architecture and IoC frameworks.
• Knowledge new technologies such as Entity Framework, LINQ, ADO Data
Services.
