We have an immediate need with our direct client for 2 Senior Sybase IQ Gurus. Sybase IQ Guru Work Location: Warren, NJ or Tampa, FL Duration: 3-6 months Rate: Open Start date: Immediate Positions: 2 Required Skills: * 8-10 years of experience in Sybase ASE 12.x & 15.x on AIX (preferred) or Solaris. * You should have extensive experience in implementing, configuring & troubleshooting Sybase IQ. * You should be able to hit the ground running & quickly identify the root causes behind the performance issues, and provide solutions. * Experience troubleshooting performance issues on Sybase IQ. * Serve as Subject Matter Expert & advise the Database Administration team on Best Practices. * Proven experience in investigating, troubleshooting & escalating Production issues; aid development teams for analyzing issues. * Should have excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic & analytical skills. * Excellent communication & coordination skills.
