Not a Basis/Netweaver resource, they are looking for an application centric DBA who can work with the business community and support requirements needs and address their issue, as well as user community to support security requirements. The job description reads as follows: • Experienced working on large scale implementations thru entire life cycle. The candidate’s responsibilities will include: • Implementing and maintaining security access within the application. This includes support of the application team and end users (SAP) • Monitoring and analyzing the application for technical vulnerabilities as user permissions change both permanently and temporarily, and as new functionality is added, upgraded and removed • Develop creative solutions and recommendations to ensure that the application meets system users and development teams at all levels • Develop application test plans and verify that appropriate security tests are conducted and results are documented • Information systems security, IS auditing, or IS controls implementation experience is a plus. Strong background in the following areas is a must: • Computer systems controls • SAP authorization concepts • SAP functional experience with awareness and exposure in • Application security design, configuration, testing and implementation • Security documentation such as security policies and procedures • Good verbal and communications skills • Candidate should have an analytical mind and the ability to delve into detail, as well as have an interest in broader business issues.
