Worksource1 supports customer service delivery and total business operations with functionalities that include case management and assessment tools, management reporting capabilities, and performance monitoring. The web-based system currently does not support the ability for jobseekers to enter their own data or update their records. Client is expanding the use of Worksoruce1 to include self-service modules where jobseekers can interact directly with the system to input and update their information. *Client is requesting an experienced Web User Interface Designer* to participate in the development of new modules in Worksource1 and enhancements to current functionalities. The consultant will be an integral part of the applications development team and the Technology Unit. The consultant will be expected to take functional requirements documents and design web user interfaces such that they are consistent with SBS and New York City branding standards as well as meet the existing application usability requirements. The consultant will also be expected to build web user interface screens as .Net ASPX pages using HTML so that application developers can leverage ASPX pages by applying C# code on top of it. The consultant must have good time management skills and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-project environment. Attention to detail, precision solution crafting and ability to communicate and work equally well with software engineers and business users / executives is required. Previous experience with .NET projects useful. *Responsibilities include:* - Work with business analysts, business owners, and application users to understand functional requirements for new modules and enchantments - Design web user interfaces for Worksource1 based on functional requirements - Build web user interface screens as .Net ASPX pages using HTMLSPECIAL* * - Meet with business owners, business analysts, and project managers to discuss and explain design decisions and provide progress reports.
