Job Title: * Test Engineer*
Work Location: *Burlington, MA*
duration: *6 months*
*Rate: 38/hr on C2C*
- Testing, developing, and delivering complex, multi-tiered, distributed
software applications.
- Ability to multitask and work in an environment with rapid development
lifecycles.
- Set-up and manage the issue resolution process for the team, including
direct communication with all stakeholders.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures and scenarios for unit,
process, function, system integration and acceptance testing. Consults with
the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test
applications.
- Test existing applications for compliance with upgrades.
- Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and
operate satisfactorily in the system environment.
- Ensure that the software interfaces with both new and existing system
components.
- Build test environments to include configuring and installing appropriate
software.
- Write detailed test plans, procedures and scenarios.
- Document the successes and failures of all executed test procedures.
- Work with several agile project teams to provide automated and manual
testing of software components and services that will be used by this
project and other projects
- Play an active role in pre-deployment and deployment testing activities.
- This position will be focused on testing and will require coordination
with the other program resources.
- The tester fully embrace agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, in their
testing practices.
*Requirements:*
*Min 5-7+ years testing experience*
Experience installing, configuring and using Linux/Windows environments.
Experience with* Symbian/S60 and S40 (Nice to have)*
Client/Server test methodology
Strong trouble shooting skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Performance/Scalability tools and test methodologies are desired.
Some Automation skills is a plus
