Business Analyst (*Fixed Income / Derivatives*) - Client is currently looking for a candidate that will be responsible for the business analysis in technology supporting the *fixed income and derivative trading businesses*. In this role, the candidates must be able to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring all systems support and conform to the requirements and specifications. Activities include providing the Project Manager with information needed to manage scope, schedule, organization, cost and quality of initiatives and projects during software development cycles and subject matter expertise in developing effective use and test cases. - Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential. - Ability to understand complex business problems with the ability to interpret into a business requirements document, work flows, use cases and functional design and assist in technical requirements. - Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. - *Experience working with Fixed Income and/or Derivative products. - Experience in working with trading systems and knowing a product"s life cycle. - Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, SDLC. - 5 * 7 years experience of hands on business analysis experience. - Experience in software and competent use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint. - Experience with SQL - Experience with the Agile process for system development. * 2. Business Analyst (*Credit Risks / Market Risks)** *– Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with *strong credit risk/market risk products knowledge*. Must have strong understanding of risks associated with structured products. Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and must have the ability to work closely with financial business users. Must be able to create and implement solutions to business users and work closely with development team. Strong understanding of development and support practices including *strong SQL skills*. Strong project planning, remediation, and implementation skills. Must have *proven experience working with large investment banks*. This is a long term contract that presents an opportunity to work on a high visibility role. - 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst at a financial firm - *Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, ideally Credit derivatives, bonds and/or interest rate derivatives. - Market Risk concepts including VaR (how to calculate VaR and the data inputs required), issuer risk analysis and stress testing*. - Experience with Market Risk systems or Front Office Pricing/Risk systems - Data Warehousing & understanding of data modeling. Structured analysis and design, particularly on data intensive front to back transaction flows. - Experience working with data feeds/system messaging interfaces and an understanding of XML/ XSD schema design. - In-depth understanding of Trade Capture, Trade Processing, Trade Flow, Events, Cash Settlement, Confirmation, EOD Valuation - Technical background, familiarity with ETL concepts & tools, ideally Informatica, data modeling, SQL - Detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized, able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines 3. Business Analyst (*Asset Services*) – Candidates must have 7-10 years of experience in financial industry as BA The position will entail interacting with business representatives from *Asset Services*, IT delivery team and other vendor teams to deliver a series of IT projects within a world class Global Asset Servicing organization. The BA will be required to lead analysis, design and testing activities to enhance IT platforms. The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the businesses requirements and the technical delivery team and help to successfully deliver the projects.
