Excellent Front End Development skills Some ASP.Net experience JQuery or
DOJO exp.
They will be making enhancements to an existing web portal that houses our
digital assets, such as sizzle reels etc. (think Netflix when you mouse over
the video image, a pop up shows up and generates all the metadata info.).
The position is for a senior development role for the creation of a custom
digital asset management system.
The developer will play a critical role in the development and enhancement
of a new system.
The role will involve new development, software configuration and re-write
of existing applications.
The position requires a self starter with excellent communication skills and
team work.
Primary Responsibilities
Application design, development and testing of the applications under
construction.
Implementation and rollout of applications.
Create and maintain coding standards used by team and domain.
Required General Skills Use of good interpersonal and communication skills
with Development Manager, Business Analysts, Application Development,
Support and Customer teams within the organization.
Engages in consistent, timely and relevant follow-up as to project status
with Development Manager and Project Manager.
A strong ability in trouble shooting, root cause analysis and corrective
action for issue resolution.
Ability to follow and adhere to written workplans to achieve project goals
and milestones.
Demonstrated commitment to usability and visually appealing user interface
designs.
Ability to conceive and design effective page layouts that are intuitive,
easy to use, convenient to navigate from within a site, visually appealing,
and have (from a usability perspective) very functional user interfaces
Required Technical Skills Developer-
.NET C#, ASP.NET 2.0+, XML, XSLT, DHTML, Javascript - Expert with 5 year(s)
experience.
5+ yrs experience in development of n-tier application programming using an
object oriented language.
Windows Services, Webforms, and SOA must be supported.
Knowledge of how to use the jQuery javascript library OR DOJO Library
Developer-Web Designer - 3 year(s) experience.
Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatible DHTML and CSS is a must.
Must have experience with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Safari, and
other browsers, on both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
Experience in development with Web 2.0 technologies; knowledge of AJAX, web
services, SOA, javascript, etc is a must Preferred Technical Skills
Developer-Oracle - Advanced Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
Development and optimization of queries, view, triggers and stored
procedures using PL/SQL.
Knowledge of how to program for a load balanced environment is a plus
Experience with Photoshop CS or comparable graphics package
