Position: Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analysis Sr Spec
Duties Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both
user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and
industry requirements.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering
computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of
desired results.
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements,
and translation into proper system requirement specifications
Guides and advises less experienced Business Analysts.
Highly skilled. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most
phases of systems analysis
while considering the business implications of the application of
technology to the current and future business environment.
Skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbal desired.
Prior consulting experience preferred.
Resource must be able to interface with business community in order to
document end user business requirements.
Must be able to work with IT team to translate end user business
requirements into system requirements.
Resource must be able to develop test strategy and test planning planning
documentation for User Acceptance Testing.
Resource should also know how to execute User Acceptance Testing.
Resource should be able to document current or "as is" business process
using MS Visio.
Resource should also be able to partner with operational area to design "to
be" or future business processes to support IT deliverables.
The business analyst is responsible for the delivery of quality solutions
that meet or exceed end user expectations.
Keywords
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at
least four, typically six years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
