Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses a strong understanding of business requirements and IT strategies. . Draws on broad knowledge base (e.g., infrastructure, technology, and applications) to analyze complex problems and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. . Leverages strong design understanding and/or capabilities (e.g., database, application code, reusable objects, and interfaces) to optimize development efforts in a distributed environment. . Good understanding of development technology used to support one or more business operations areas. . Responds to direct questions from IT Management or the business on the effects of emerging technologies on product development and business directions; may provide buy vs. build recommendations or assist in platform determination. Required education/experience: . Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. . 4 to 6 years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis . Typically experienced across two Information Technology areas or in a single system / applications software development technology across multiple computing platforms.
