Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Software Engineer W/ C/C++, Visual Objects, SS7, IS41, Unix & Solaris Position: 2 Duration: 6 months initially Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Interview: Immediate Requirements: - Must have a recent programming experience. Minimum 5 years of code writing experience. Call processing application preferred. - Must have solid knowledge of C programming language and at least one object oriented language (e.g. Visual Objects, C++). - Must have programming knowledge of SQL/Relational DBs (Oracle, Informix, etc.); not looking for a DB administration knowledge - Must have knowledge of one or more communications protocols (exposure to SS7 (TCAP, ISUP) and/or Radius or Diameter) - Must have programming knowledge of one of the following operating systems: Windows, Unix or an Unix derivative. Again, not looking for an OS administration knowledge - Must be able to trouble shoot software/communication systems. - Local Chicago area candidate strongly preferred.
