This role will require direct, hands-on expertise in implementing environmental builds, both by programming/configuring commercial automated build management tools and by developing custom solutions - for distributed, mid-range, mainframe and service oriented architecture (SOA) environments. Strong knowledge of build/release management processes and techniques is required. Minimum requirements: • 10+ years of direct, hands-on experience with Build/Release management in complex multi-tiered environments • 3+ years of experience with Build/Release management for SOA architecture and Web Services • 3+ years of experience in designing Configuration Management/ Release Management policies and promotion models • 5+ years experience in the use of automated build/release tools, preferably Anthill Pro • Demonstrated ability in the development of custom solutions for automated builds/releases • Ability to work as a peer with highly technical client resources • Computer science degree or equivalent experience Pluses: • Familiarity with ITIL processes (formal training/certification preferred) • 3+ years of hands-on experience in supporting performance test environments • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders, both orally and in writing Chandu Akkineni Palette IT Solutions Inc.
