Core Java – Java JDK 1.4 & 1.5, JDBC, Collections, JavaBeans, concurrency, multi-threading, etc. 3. Java frameworks - Spring 2.0+, Struts 1.x, Hibernate 3.0+ 4. Web Services – SOAP, knowledge of web services standards and best practices 5. Extensive experience with the WebLogic application server platform ( versions 7 & 9 ) 6. Knowledge of web application security best practices, Java Authentication And Authorization Service(JAAS) 7. Database knowledge – Complex SQL queries, stored procedures, & tuning, database design/modeling skills, MS SQL Server 2000/2008 preferred, Oracle 10g a plus 8. UML, Design Patterns 9.
