Brief Summary of this position: The position is more for a data modeler type. We need someone very experienced with case tools who can manage the database development life cycle and is able to translate business requirements from analysts and developers into good relational designs. * * *Title : Data Analyst * *Type : 12 Month Contract * *Location : FL * *Hours : 8:00am to 5:00pm * Duties: • This position has oversight responsibility for the delivery and implementation of relational database changes. • The data analyst will consult with application developers and data base administrators throughout the software development life cycle. • The data analyst will lead joint application design and joint application review sessions in order to build sound relational design concepts into software development projects. • The data analyst will accept database DDL in various forms, align them with existing logical models, and provide feedback to the application developer. • The data analyst supports the Database Administrator throughout the physical implementation of the database by managing the database life cycle as it progresses through the development, test, and production environments.
