Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : Lead Data Architect w/ Insurance industry Exp Location : Jersey City, NJ (LOCALS ONLY) Duration : 6+ Months This is NOT an ETL architect or a BI/Cognos Architect position. Recent project(s) must include a Data Architect role with the below description. Currently looking for a Lead Data Architect with recent experience in designing/implementing Data Marts/Data warehouses in Oracle. a.. Must have hands-on experience in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions for complex data/reporting requirements. b.. Must be proficient in SQL & query optimization in a Data Warehouse environment. Strong understanding of dimensional/snowflake concepts. Should be well versed in multidimensional data structures. c.. Must have had prior experience in implementing Oracle Best Practices in a Data Warehouse environment. d.. Strong experience with relational database technology supporting data warehouses/BI reporting. e.. Perform Conceptual, Logical, and Physical, Multidimensional, & Hierarchical data modeling using leading data modeling tools. f.. Good domain knowledge of Insurance industry is preferred. Strong business analysis skills a big plus. g.. Work closely with ETL developers & Cognos developers to provide solutions for complex data/reporting requirements. h.. Basic UNIX skills and some database administration skills are quite helpful. i.. Oracle database experience is a must. j.. Must be a self-starter and a team player.
