My client is based in the Columbia, SC area and they have an immediate contract opening for a Systems Architect for 12 months plus possible extensions. * * *Experience:* * * · Extensive industry experience in the design and development of *SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)*-based systems, and the ability to clearly communicate that knowledge. · Ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team consisting of state government employees, higher education staff and faculty, and commercial IT services vendors. · Knowledge of *Enterprise Architecture Frameworks* such as *MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture)* or *TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)*. · Knowledge in *Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).* · Experience with *Medical Claims Processing systems*, especially Medicaid. · Experience with *Beneficiary eligibility determination and enrollment systems*, especially those connected with State and Federal entitlement programs.
