Need: MMIS (Medicare Management Information System) Architect

The Client is seeking a Systems Architect for the development and
implementation of a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).

General Duties:
Working with other members of the project team, the Systems Architect
will be responsible for providing thought leadership and sharing
technical acumen for a new MMIS system to be aligned with principles
of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) and the MITA (Medicaid
Information Technology Architecture) framework. Specific tasks will
include:
•         Perform analysis of existing systems and gain clear
understanding of the business and technical functions
•         Develop, document, and communicate the “to be” Enterprise Architecture
•         Develop and communicate a strategy for creating services in
an SOA framework from existing, and new, business processes.
•         Guide the technical implementation of the SOA strategy.
•         Facilitate discussions, and provide education, to team
members and other parties on SOA concepts and best practices
•         Other related duties as assigned

Client is seeking an expert with the technical and interpersonal
skills necessary to enable success on this high-visibility project.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•         Extensive industry experience in the design and development
of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)-based systems, and the ability
to clearly communicate that knowledge.
•         Ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team
consisting of state government employees, higher education staff and
faculty, and commercial IT services vendors.
•         Willing to work full-time in Columbia, SC on a long-term project.
•         Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as MITA
(Medicaid Information Technology Architecture) or TOGAF (The Open
Group Architecture Framework).
•         Experience with Medical Claims Processing systems,
especially Medicaid.
•         Experience with Beneficiary eligibility determination and
enrollment systems, especially those connected with State and Federal
entitlement programs.
•         Superb written and oral communications skills. Strong
proficiency in English is required.
•         Impeccable integrity. This project will have very high
visibility and will impact significant expenditures of public funds.

decisions and the courage to speak out when they are uncomfortable
with the direction the project is taking.
•         Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people
and organizations on a continuous basis.

Need: SAP FICO ABAPer for upgrade from 4.6 to ECC 6.0
Start Date: 2/22/2010
Duration: 2 months
Location: Columbia, SC {Locals would always be given first preference}



Upgrade the current SAP Financial (FICO-GL) system from version 4.6C
to ECC 6.0 on new hardware with a 2 server systems landscape (1
Production Server and 1Test Server providing Development and Test
instances). The project will also upgrade the database from 9i to 10G
and conduct Unicode conversion of the data on all database instances
(Development, Test and Production). All functionality will need to be
moved to the new landscape as is. No new or additional functionality
will need to be provided.

Setting up of the new hardware and operating system and making the new
server hardware ready for the install/upgrade will not be in scope for
the project.

The upgrade will move the existing system landscape from one HPUX
RP2470 (OS 11.11) to two HPUX Itanium Blade Servers (OS 11.31). The
existing environment remains intact until the migration to the new
environment is complete.

This Senior SAP Technical Consultant will have strong ABAP programming
skills and work with the project team performing the technical upgrade
of SAP (FI-GL) 4.6C to ECC6.0. The consultant will provide any needed
remediation of ABAP for both standard SAP and custom developed
programs and screens. The consultant will perform necessary
modification and unit testing of standard SAP/custom DDIC objects,
custom interfaces (ALV, BDC, RFC), custom ABAP reports/programs,
transactions, menus and screens. The consultant will convert and port
existing drill down reports written in Report Painter. The consultant
will also install, configure and integrate GUIXT with the business
workflow screens and perform other tasks deemed in scope of the SAP
Upgrade. Prefer someone who is SAP certified and has experience with
several previous SAP Implementations/Upgrades.
