Position: QA Tester (White Box Testing & Black Box)
Location(State/city):Illinois IL/Chicago
Duration: 6+ months
Requirements:
The consultant must have Java developement exp.
In-depth successful software testing experience including White Box Testing &
Black Box Testing, with at least 1 year experience in testing Financial
business applications that have a significant front-end (as well as back-end)
component.
Linux - practical experience building/running systems on Linux platform
including basic shell/perl scripting
Candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of functional and
automated testing as well as working knowledge of SQL to mine production tables
for suitable test data.
It is desirable to have working knowledge of Exchange industry terminology &
its associated systems.
Candidate has developed test plans and test cases based on software
requirements
Has documented software issues discovered using a defect tracking system.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
Willingness & ability to master complex financial subject matter with a
minimum of hand-holding.
Must be able to work in a dynamically changing environment, as part of a
team, with minimal direction.
Experience testing high-volume financial exchange systems.
