Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Server-side Application development
Strong core Java skills Multi-threading, Collections API with an emphasis on
quality and performance JDBC
- Familiarity with batch processing, bulk result set processing and
performance issues associated with handling large volumes of data using JDBC
Distributed computing technologies, Grid Computing, Data Synapse Oracle or
Sybase database background
Strong Analytical skills Financial domain background Good communication
skills Strong initiative and sense of ownership Strong desire to learn new
technologies
Description: Market Risk Technology is looking for a Senior Java developer
to work on the implementation of Strategic VaR Platform and Incremental Risk
Charge (IRC) projects. The Market Risk Analytics Senior Developer will
design, develop, test and support solutions developed for VaR methodology,
Portfolio Risk Reporting and Market Risk Officers. The candidate must be
familiar with either Market or Credit Risk Domain or Basel II framework,
technically strong and should be able work with development team distributed
across regions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good understanding of Value-at-Risk (VaR) Knowledge of Issuer or
Counterparty Risk EhCache, ICE protocol Spring Framework Bachelors Degree in
Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics
