Requirements: • Tandem application development programmer, TAL, TACL, Enscribe, Enforms, SCOBOL, COBOL, FUP, SUP • 3+ years solid programming experience on Tandem HP-Nonstop • Strong analytical skills and ability to write clearly understood Technical Designs. • Experience in the financial industry is Hugh Plus REQ 2 Need: Oracle 11g DBA Location: King of Prussia, PA Duration: 6 mths Rate: $45/hr Description: Overview: Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to serve as a key individual contributor on an existing team to handle both system and application database administration responsibilities. Responsibilities: * Experience building new production Oracle 11g databases (preferably 11gR2); migrating existing production Oracle 10gR2 databases to Oracle 11g (again preferably 11gR2); and patching Oracle production databases. * Working knowledge/hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (10gR2, 11gR1) hosted on a Linux Production environment is a must. * Experienced deploying Oracle technologies (e.g., RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM/Grid, RMAN, Oracle Streams / Golden Gate)) in mission critical highly available production environments (preferably 11g versions of these where applicable) * Experience implementing database technology in a virtual hosting environment – both RAC and non-RAC. * Experience in SQL tuning and or PL/SQL debugging/tuning * Experience following standard build documentation and best practices as well as refining these based on experience and new findings. Experienced in planning and communicating such deployments and upgrades in a Change Control environment. * Experience working with Oracle Support Services to resolve issues and familiar with Oracle’s escalation procedures to use as needed. * Experience working in an environment with formal change control processes and compliance processes (e.g., SOX, PCI, SAS70) * Experience in ongoing support of production database environment – space projection and reclamation, SQL performance tuning of existing applications, etc. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: * 5 to 10 years of experience in database technology * Experience with Oracle 11g * Demonstrated depth of knowledge of key Oracle technologies (e.g., RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM/Grid, RMAN, Oracle Streams / Golden Gate)) as deployed in production environments * Effective oral and written skills * Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. *Oracle Certified Professional a plus.
