Focus on Oracle DBAs with experience in a Large Complex Environments
(Telecom is *HIGHLY preferred* – ie *Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, Alltel,
MetroPCS, Virgin, Verizon*, etc)
Focus on Oracle skills (10g at least)

*Description:*
•Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for *Oracle Databases* and
services of our applications platform
•Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced
environment
•Monitoring different databases, addressing the alerts and taking necessary
steps
•Investigate potential problems and issues raised by users
•Performance tuning of SQLs
•Setting up & fine tune database backups
*3-5 years previous experience *Have solid Oracle 10g knowledge*. *Oracle
11g knowledge will be a plus*.
*Have solid working knowledge to support very large databases with heavy
OLTP and batch activities
*Have expertise in performance monitoring & tuning
*Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
*Able to work effectively in high pressure situations
*Able to work independently, to develop tools for database monitoring and
maintanence.
*Having strong Unix scripting (*Shell/Perl*) knowledge
*Having strong working knowledge in *HP-UX, Sun and NT platform*
*Working knowledge in *DB2, SQL Server & MYSQL*
*Knowledge in *Goldengate replication* and other replication tools is a plus
Bachelor's degree in related field
