Role : Data Center Consultant Duration : 6 Months Location : Austin,TX Basic Knowledge of OS, Unix, Netbackup & networking components Clear understanding of the Datacenter components, power distribution in racks etc. Responsible for backup tape loading/unloading into the tape libraries, media management & reporting Communicating to offshore teams on day-today tape management activities. Responsible for racking/unracking servers, storages, networking components Responsible for physically powering on/off systems, enabling connectivity of the various devices onto network Role : Oracle Database Livelink Exp Consultant Duration : 6 Months Location : Dallas, TX Job Responsibilities: Replicate Livelink 9.5.1 environment. Assess effort to upgrade custom scanning module. If significant effort is required, this will be handled through a change control request. Troubleshooting of existing search and AD synchronization issues. If significant effort is required to resolve these problems, costs will be handled through a change control request. Migrate the existing Livelink Oracle database schema from Oracle 9.x to Oracle 10g. Define upgrade procedure. Preparation of the Production and Test Livelink environments (verify disk space and database resource needs and backup existing environments). Perform the upgrade on the Test Livelink system. Verify functionality of upgraded Test Livelink system. Develop and validate an upgrade checklist for use in upgrading the Production Livelink instance. Perform Production Livelink upgrade. Verify functionality of upgraded system and all integrations.Address any issues identified. ---Promote upgraded Livelink system to Production.
