Network Engineer  - TIRKS OSS / Customer-Facing / Telecom / OSS

We are looking for a Network Engineer with TIRKS OSS (AT&T legacy system)
experience. This is a must – *having TIRKS.*


Ideal candidate will also have *5+ years in telecommunications, IP, WAN,
LAN, MAN, SONET, ethernet switches and related data systems.*

This individual will provide dedicated onsite support for one of our largest
customers, working closely with the end users in the network operation
centers The network expert will support OSS production support for our
customers network engineering application, which includes resource
management, provisioning and service fulfillment solution.

Glimpse of Responsibilities and Abilities
- Expert in IDIS and all its functionalities (Ethernet provisioning OSS
system).
- Work closely with users and SNEs while supporting their activities and
questions.
- Tier 1 Support for OSS.
- First line for ticket handling and analysis coming from the users and
providing initial solution or directing the tickets to Tier 2 support.
- Correspond with development centers on technical issues.
- Advise customer support groups on product/application information.
- Partner with engineering group in design, planning, layout, and
configuration of OSS system and services.
- Support escalations and be available to supply status on any open issues.
- Provide high level of customer service when responding to a customer
request or fulfilling project requirements.

Requirements
*- TIRKS OSS (AT&T legacy system) experience*

Preferences
- Network Engineer with least 5 years experience in telecommunications, IP,
WAN, LAN, MAN, SONET, Ethernet Switches and related data systems.
- Ability to facilitate effective collaborative problem solving in a complex
customer environment.
- Willing to learn new technologies and new products.
- Ability to clearly define and explain technical issues to customer.
- Additional experience with Amdocs Cramer and OSS solution is advantage.
- Strong advantage to knowledge of TIRKS and other legacy inventory /
assurance systems.
