*Job Description:*
Client is looking for experienced Project Management / Technical Lead SQL
Server Developer cum DBA with minimum 3 years experience as an MS SQL /
Server DBA/developer supporting highly available development and production
environments consisting of **SQL** Server clustering and highly
transactional **SQL** *Server* Replication with working knowledge of **SQL**
Server, Reporting Services, and **SQL** Server Analysis Services.
Experience with Team Foundation **Server** or other relevant source control
system. Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as
ability to work effectively as a team member. Ability to identify, analyze,
and solve problems. Must have excellent written and verbal communication
skills with outstanding attention to detail
*Responsibilities (but not limited to):*
· Daily DBA activities, security assignment, user setup,
backup/restore and job monitoring on *MS * *SQL* *Server*
· Setup and maintain client databases as requested, based on
established corporate standard database schemas.
· Analyze, resolve, and document findings in support of reported
database issues.
· Maintain daily, weekly, monthly logs for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
reporting.
· Support developers in coding scripts, stored procedures and
triggers for our online customer and operations management applications.
· Participate in the development and production release processes.
· Design and develop reports using Crystal Reports or similar tools.
· Develop, analyze, interpret and/or maintain database design,
architecture, and systems documentation.
· On-call support rotation for 24/7 production datacenter
environment.
