Employment Type: Contract City: Chicago State: IL Status: *Accepting Candidates* Description: *Technical Architect ( Manager)* · Define application and technical requirements. · Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. · Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments. · Determine the number of environment instances needed for the delivery of the solution (Development, Conversion, Test, Training, Staging, Production, Production Support, etc.). Lead the establishment of these environments. · Make all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security. · Lead the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation. · Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs. · Perform LAN (e.g., end-user sites and data center) as well as WAN (connection from data center to remote end-users) load analysis and sizing/capacity planning as required to support the solution. · Perform hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution. · Support the transition to the Application Outsourcing and Infrastructure Outsourcing organization · Ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews and reviewing application and technical architecture deliverables. · Ability to provide technical leadership including serving as a resource to the project team by evaluating and proposing technical alternatives for resolving business and technology issues · Ability to develop application architecture as new requirements arise · Ability to define the complete technical infrastructure environment · Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit X · Ability to create architecture scope, definition, construction, and execution · Ability to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional, technical, and performance requirements · Ability to map customer requirements to technology capability · Ability to identify gaps and omissions in the end-to-end solution · Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement · Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards · Ability to provide technical leadership to project resources and X to meet project deadlines and ensure that project objectives are met · Ability to consult with and develop technical resources for methods, procedures, and standards to use during design, development, and unit testing phases of the project · Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary · Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve system development and maintenance activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed · Ability to review technical documentation to verify compliance with requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines -- Thanks & Regards, Bhaskar TEKTREE LLC., 3104 Drummond Plaza ; Newark , DE 19711 Contact no.: 302-248-8014; Fax: 302 397 2097 Email: [email protected], IM: bhaskar.recruiter Website: www.tektreeinc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
