Notes from Hiring Manager: Must have 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years working with WebLogic, Apache or Websphere. MUST HAVE STRONG Shell Scripting. 4 year degree is highly preferred. Will Act at the highest level in a technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex technical support and operating systems or subsystems initiatives. Leads, conducts, and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Plans and defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Directs the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves the most complex problems. This position will be responsible for automating the installation and configuration of middleware components and packaging them for distribution within the organization. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of two or more of the following: Weblogic Server (10.x), Websphere Application Server (7.0), and/or Apache products (HTTP Server 2.2, Tomcat 6.0). Candidates must have solid experience with Shell scripting. Familiarity with any of the following languages is a plus: Python, Jython, and XML. The preferred candidate will also have experience with one or more of the following Operating Systems: Solaris 10, RHEL 5, AIX 6.1, and/or SuSE. Any experience with HPSA would be a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience with VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) configuration, standardization and engineering. HACMP or Windows Clustering Software would be a plus.
