or system implementation projects with a project value of at least 3 million
for a period not less than 5 years on 2 separate projects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acting as the primary interface with the end client Quality Manager
Establishing a QA program and tailoring an dapplyin gthe contractor's
existing QA methodologies on the project Having reporting authority directly
to the contractor Project director and responsibility for managing and
coordinating the contractor QA resources assigned to the project Developing
the contractor's QA plan Providing day to day management of QA activities
Establishing and monitorin gquality metrics Managing all QA resources and
ensuring that appropriate resources are available
Location(State/city):Connecticut CT/NORTH HAVEN
Duration: 6+ months
Req Details:
IT Quality Assurance Program Lead - can be located in CT, NY, VA, or GA
Develop and manage the QA and its integration points with the overall
program.
Manage the meetings and gathering of the risks, issues and dependencies
associated to the overall deliverables from QA.
Manage and maintain the PlanView resource requirements and overall RCM
process.
Manage the financials and any associated change requests. Provide overall
status to the program of QA deliverables. Primary escalation point for QA
delivery. Responsible for all project management aspects of the QA portion
of the program. Ensures a coordinated and planned approach from the entire
QA organization. Responsible for the development and ongoing management of
one or more multi-year programs on behalf of the IT Quality Assurance team.
Responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and
techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems. In addition to
all responsibilities of a project manager which include managing all aspects
of a project including initiating, planning, executing, closing and
controlling, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
**coaches and mentors project team members;
**develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans;
**develops training plans; identifies project team training and tool needs;
**defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for technical
services and products;
**coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement
plans; **defines quality gates for each project methodology phase;
**defines critical success factors;
**establishes and manages the project warranty period.
