hi PL / SQL Developer Job Location: Denver, CO (DTC) Duration: 3 months Phone Screen Interview Rate: $40/hr (no exceptions) Summary Description We are looking for a PL SQL Developer who loves to work with data and interfacing with clients. The candidate must be knowledgeable in database technologies such as PL-SQL and at least one scripting language such as PERL, Python or equivalent. The successful candidate will work to customize the ETL mapping transformation, load and processing of client data into our core products. Responsibilities 1. Install, configure and administer internal and external database deployments. 2. Serve as technical deployment subject matter expert for internal and external clients database deployments on internal, hosted and client supported hardware. 3. Customize core database systems for clients including obtaining data and verifying it, running ETL, running analytics and publishing the results. 4. Troubleshoot, debug and research of client data and processing issues involving extracts, file formats, character set and formatting issues and other gaps as they occur. Qualifications 1. Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. 2. Must be proficient in PL-SQL, including stored procedures, 3+ years experience preferred. 3. 1+ years programming experience preferred with at least one scripting or text manipulation language such as PERL, Python, DOS or UNIX shell scripting. 4. Exposure to ETL tools and methods. 5. Familiarity with health plan administrative data sets including claims, pharmacy, and lab (strongly desired). 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communication with executive leadership and all levels of staff and clients. 7. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit. Display professionalism, high energy level, significant commitment, and demonstrated interest in building the company. 8. Exceptional ability to collaborate in a team environment, while being personally accountable for individual results 9. Work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision or direction. 10. Must be a fast learner and one who continues to learn as solutions and industry dynamics change. 11. Detail oriented and able to thrive under pressure and deadlines. 12. Accuracy and thoroughness in executing projects, procedures and work. 13. Able to work occasionally on weekends and after hours to address workload. 14. Possess a customer friendly and responsive attitude for internal and external parties.
