Title : Java Architect with stong Perl and SQL Location : NYC Duration : 6 month+ Required : Face-Face Responsibilities: Participate in the complete project lifecycle (Planning, functional specification, design, implementation, unit test, user test, maintenance), address customer and product management requests, and provide effective solutions. Interact with customer, project manager to identify the requirements and propose and implement solutions for clients. The candidate is expected to work in a structured and transparent manner, report progress and risk and issues to the project manager and other team member. Required Skills: SQL development expert - 5+ years experience PERL development expert - 5+ years experience in working in UNIX environments Strong Java development experience Interest in finance and market practices Strong understanding of financial instruments BSc or MSc graduate level: Computer Science or related subject . Ability to work creatively as part of a team, taking initiative where necessary . Excellent communication skills, team player and effective communication within team . Strong desire for solving complex problems in a rigorous and detailed manner . Experience of working on complex multi-tier software systems .
