Let me know if you have someone for the below position. *Position: Senior Business Analyst with Java & Sun Gaurd* *Location: Charlotte, NC (Local Needed)* *Duration: 7 Months* *Rate: DOE* *Interview: Immediate * ** ** *Job Purpose/ Description: * Investments Domain (Equities, Fixed Income, Mortgages, Real Estate, and Credit Derivatives) • Analyzes with strong investments business domain knowledge in the brokerage or investment banking industry, specifically in equities, fixed income, mortgages, real estate, and credit derivatives, involving front-office / trading, middle-office support and operations, as well as portfolio management and research functions. Insurance, Pension & Annuity Domain • Analyzes with strong pension and annuity product / business domain knowledge, including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax Annuities, and Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b. Trust Services, Educational Savings (529) Domain • Analyzes with strong trust services and educational savings knowledge, e.g., 529 College Savings Plans, Mutual Funds, and brokerage business domain information Corporate Support Domain (HR, Law, FAF, Accounting) • Excellent ability to work with business owners. • Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation by leading communication between business units and IT. • Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. • Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues. • Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload. • May design, implement and improve workflows, as well as assign projects. *Tasks and Responsibilities: * Many years of solid BA experience which includes: * Current experience working with the business and authoring requirements documentation (from scratch). * Recognize the difference between and writing of Business and Functional requirements based on information gathered from the Business and other SMEs. * Champion the compilation and/or authoring of Technical requirements documentation. * Familiarity of and/or experience with use cases. * Authoring of traceability matrices for managing requirements from definition to testing. * Experience with CaliberRM would be beneficial but not required (for requirements management). * Extensive experience with leading requirements gathering sessions and document walkthroughs/inspections and facilitating these sessions over the phone in almost all cases. Also, identifying approvers of the documents, requesting and managing approvals of the documents. * Experience with writing test scenarios, test scripts and executing of manual testing (based on final approved requirements). * Experience with HP Quality Center would be very beneficial. * Local to Charlotte. * Understanding that they are expected to be on-site with no expectation to work from home (due to security guidelines).
