Let me know if you have someone for the below position. *Position: BizTalk Ecommerce Architect* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 8 Months* *Rate: DOE* *Interview: Immediate * ** ** *Description * Client is seeking a senior ecommerce/Solution Architect for an immediate long term contract opportunity. The candidate will work within virtual teams to ensure the successful rollout of a recently selected enterprise e-commerce platform intended to support all global business units. ** ** *: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * At a program level: * o Assist in developing and socializing enterprise strategies, standards and guidelines o Collaborate with senior technologists across all global business units to establish an ecommerce reference architecture template o Work with Global Shared Services and business owners across all global business units to establish a global implementation roadmap for rollout of the enterprise ecommerce platform * ** ** *At a project level: * o Provide technology architecture oversight of ecommerce implementation projects o Ensure that architecture designs are consistent with industry best practices, client's standards, the ecommerce reference architecture template and supports client's Strategic Operating IT plan o Coordinate and lead project design meetings and working sessions o Facilitate discussions of design alternatives with all key stakeholders, drive quickly to decisions and action plans then document and communicate those design decisions o Work with project teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into detailed technical specifications o Engage cross-domain stakeholders when components of the solution fall outside of the ecommerce reference architecture o Ensure that critical technology dependencies are getting resolved in a timely manner o Develop and document current and target state architecture diagrams Qualifications: * ** ** *Technical: * Must have working knowledge and implementation experience with an application integration platform preferably Microsoft BizTalk 2009.
