client is seeking an experienced DW resource to act as a lead for the DW Power User's Group to allow the group to understand and leverage the data warehouse.
Position: Microstrategy Consultant Location: Dayton, Ohio Duration: Till the end of the year *Eligibility Requirements:* ** A minimum of; · 4 years experience designing, building and deploying reports in a Teradata based Data Warehouse environment · 4 years experience designing, building and deploying reports using Microstrategy in a Teradata based Data Warehouse environment · Strong leadership skills · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Excellent team skills * * * * *Core Job Responsibilities:* 1. Provide Microstrategy tech training, guidance and mentorship to DW Power User group members 2. Ensure proper governance of data in the DW 3. Act as the lead for the DW Power User's Group 4. Provide mentoring and training to DW Power User's Group to allow them to leverage the data in the DW 5. Build a recommendation for managing Meta Data 6. Maintain meta data repository so that resources utilizing the DW understand how to properly utilize and leverage the data 7. Establish short and long term data needs 8. Prioritize DW Power User's Group initiatives 9. Make training recommendations. 10. Work with IT DW group to understand IT DW resource availability 11.
