Job Description: Individual in this position will work with an innovative
group of developers to roll-out new solutions and enhancements to the new
vehicle maintenance application. This position will offer a unique
opportunity to work on legacy modernization project in a SOA environment.
· Develop, update and enhance vehicle maintenance applications
· Develop interactive applications using JWalk, programming.
· Conduct structured design sessions and/or walk-through
design sessions with customer IT teams. Convert requirements into design
specifications.
· Provide production support for Maintenance applications
· Develop ad-hoc processes to create data extracts for
customers.
Position
4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing
applications. (System Development Life Cycle experience and knowledge)
· 2+ years of experience in maintaining and enhancing existing
software and developing new software solutions utilizing JWALK is required.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve complex problems
is required
· Ability to visualize and design applications across platform
is required
· Strong understanding of database structures, theories,
principles, and practices is required
· Good written and oral communication skills is required
· Strong technical documentation skills is required
· Ability to create and modify programs with or without
written program specifications, consistent with department procedures,
philosophies, and standards is required.
· Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment is required.
· Applicant must be highly self motivated and directed and
must have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· .NET Framework experiences a plus
· SQL Server 2000/2005 experience a plus
· CL, RPG, COBOL & SQL experience a plus
· Technical project management experience is a plus
· Experience in vehicle maintenance applications is a plus
