local to TX only*

J2EE requirements:
Solid understanding of J2EE design patterns and best practices
Knowledge of UML usage within architecture documents
Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques
Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC).
Agile Development
Refactoring
Testing methodology
Expertise and hands on experience with various J2EE framework implementation


Enterprise J2EE Infrastructure (BEA WebLogic and/or IBM WebSphere)
requirements:
Create real time performance, profiling, and monitoring components to be
utilized during load testing and for real time monitoring of all stages of
application deployment (Dev, Test, Staging, Prod).
Evaluate existing J2EE Shared Service Architecture design with current and
future state in mind. Devise a migration plan (if needed) for current
projects and an on-boarding plan for future projects.
Design an automated deployment strategy that can be leveraged despite
originating development environment (WebSphere, etc).
Also consider unified deployment of utilities needed by WebLogic & WebSphere
Shared Services projects Oracle Client, DB2Clien, MQClient.
Review all design parameters with an emphasis on performance.
Experience in BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere Architecture and Design for
Enterprise scale deployments.
J2EE container Enterprise level Planning, Analysis and Implementation
Provide guidance to application architecture team for development of best
practices from an architectural level.
Experience with WebLogic and/or WebSphere Administration and Monitoring.
Experience configuring and administering unique deployments of custom
applications for any J2EE container.
Advanced WebLogic and WebSphere performance and tuning experience including
development of custom tools. (Java MBeans Extensions)
Experience implementing tools that are extensions to WebLogic & WebSphere
such as monitoring tools, code profiling tools, etc.
Experience designing & implementing WebLogic Clusters, WebSphere Network
Deployment and Deployment Manger along with Directory authentication.
Able to demonstrate abilities to create/reengineer integration solutions
(architectures) with other enterprise standard technologies
Lead in risk assessment, identifying technology challenges and recommend
architectures

Other infrastructure related knowledge:
Understanding of various hardware platforms is required.
Experience in iPlanet and IBM HTTP Server (Apache) is required.
Prior knowledge of Proxy Plug-in based configuration for both iPlanet and
IBM HTTP server is desired.
Knowledge of any Hardware based load balancer is a must.
Working knowledge of Solaris and Linux is a must.
Understanding of enterprise networking is desired
Prior experience of development and n-tier architecture would be very
helpful.
