Job Title: Java Developer with C++ Telecom Domain.
Location:TX
Project: 3 Months+
Rate: open
*Development positions* – all report to Soames, his info is in SFDC
1. Hardcore Java developer to work on the SMS Gateway that feeds to
BMW cars. Text to vehicle. SIP protocol experience, some voice to vehicle as
well.
2. Java and C++ mix, sounds like more C++. All back end work.
Production support, tickets, work on non-documented code with little
guidance or help, a self-starter and digger. Lots of stored procedures and
SQL as well. A little vehicle data exchange.
3. Four more roles- more like their standard roles with Java, DB/2 and
Oracle back end, some Hibernate, JSF, eclipse, Tomcat, Glassfish would be
nice. Two of the positions will have more front end integration work tying
in the stuff done in Boston, the other two more back end XML and web
services.
.NET development is a nice to have, not required
*SA positions*
Work collocated with the analysts who gather requirements from business
users, turn those into Functional Specs that go to Soames. Work with the
Product and Technical teams as the liaison, tie in dev and test people to
get the requirements done quickly and correctly the first time. Use cases,
familiar with UAT, use “Pop team”? I can’t find that one. 3-4 month release
cycles with overlapping releases every month.
