Description - *Data Modeler/Data Architect *- Extensive experience in designing data models in data warehousing environment. Must have this skill as part of the core experience. Logical data modeling as well as experience in physical data modeling . The person should have in-depth knowledge of data base design concepts. Insurance industry experience will help. Must be able to analyze existing logical and physical data models and make changes according to business needs. good hands on experience with leading databases. 1. Experienced Data Modeler/Data Architect with hands on experience in designing and developing data models in Data Intensive environment 2. Engage with business and technology teams to assess the feasibility of current Data Models and improvements 3. Maintain and manage about 5-6 data models (for different but related systems) in Customer’s BI environment 4. Change the data models as needed for any new business requirements and test it along with Data Integration Team. 5. Interface with business/technology teams to help them find information/data from the system 6. Insurance Industry experience is plus. 7. Assist in data model migration program - from current data model to IIA framework. IIA framework knowledge is plus but non essential. 8. Guide offshore team in data integration activities by creating specs, data flow diagrams, documentation and entity relationships 9. Since environment is primarily SQL Server, some experience of the environment will be helpful at physical modeling level 10.Work along with onsite program manager and offshore team to assess future requirements, effort estimation and team ramp-up/down Thanks!!
