One good buzzword to look for is Reflector, as it is a tool used to reverse engineer in .NET. These people, like the hard core developer, can be heavy on middle tier work, but must have some requirements gathering and/or specification writing on their CV/Resume to get past the gatekeeper. (3) UI designer Job Description - UI Presentation layer polish person. The candidate should understand ASP.NET MVC, preferably 2.0; must have strong ASP.NET background. The person must be strong in JavaScript and should have JQuery on their resume. Other must haves are CSS and HTML. Any design experience is a definite plus (PhotoShop, for example). Some hints would be tools like Expression Web, Dreamweaver, In Design, but make sure HTML appears on resume in addition to these tools, as a person who is just a tool monkey will get chewed up and spit out. Look for cross browser design experience (UI design for multiple browsers or sim ilar wording).
