Job Description High Level Job Description: Under direct supervision, assists with the installation and support of network communications, including LANs and/or WANs. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations involving readily identifiable problems. Assists in the planning of large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Typically requires a college degree and some knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications. 4 - 6 years of experience. This position will require monitoring of the SM7 ticket tracking system for incidents, reseaching and troubleshooting and service restoration of data network related issues on the Client's enterprise for US and Canada locations. Tickets will be resolved based on the assigned priority and will include the details of the problem resolution. Service outages related to network hardware and service providers is the majority of the work. On-call support is required on a rotating basis.
