Description:
ERP Strategy is a multiyear program. The architect will be a senior person
and a part of central team responsible to produce roadmap, define
architectures, define common ERP elements/platform, define blue prints and
best practices, cook book etc. This person will produce artifacts to support
ERP Strategy execution. Phase 1 of the program produced clarity and
recommendations towards a target state. This person should be able to take
these recommendations and support delivery of the roadmap with architecture
oversight
Competence:
§ Significant experience in implementing Oracle products (PeopleSoft
preferred)
§ Understanding of Finance Stack a plus – (FAH, ALM, FTP, Fusion etc)
§ Understanding of data management, reference/master data a plus
§ Understanding of interaction/management of custom applications (.NET,
J2EE) and Oracle products
§ Strong high level understanding of concepts in data life cycle,
integration life cycle and data warehouse
§ Deep knowledge of implementation challenges in a complex environment
with a build and custom application portfolio
§ Thorough understanding of the entire lifecycle of information management
§ Strong understanding of complex problems and limitations of large
organizations in terms of executing multi year architecture strategy
§ Participation in execution of multiyear strategy (Finance preferred) at
a large organization from an architecture perspective
§ Ability to make and manage recommendations based on landscape analysis
to reduce complexity (Syndication, Approval and Execution)
§ Ability to navigate between short term project requirements and long
term strategy
§ Strong communication & time management skills
§ 12+ years of ERP implementation preferred

§ Architecture and process oversight
§ Portfolio Impact Analysis, Roadmap/milestones
§ Design Patterns, Blue Prints, Best Practices, Cook books
§ Syndication presentations with strong subject matter expertise
§ Vendor product analysis- RFI/RFPs, industry benchmarks
Effort and budget estimation on architecture needs
