Position:QA manager
Location: PA.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
. Follow enterprise-wide testing processes to ensure software
quality standards are met.
. Support software testing effort to ensure that software
applications align with governing documentation.
. Update project plans and testing status reports.
. Ability to prioritize testing needs for projects.
. Supervision of junior testers.
. Ensure that use cases, test cases, test scripts are developed for
each area of responsibility.
. Create re-usable test scripts and test data across projects to
realize synergies.
. Ensure that entry and exit criteria are determined and met for all
testing phases.
. Work closely with team who is developing test environments.
. Responsible for defect reporting to management.
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
. Minimum of 5 years testing management experience.
. Minimum of 5 years in a Quality Assurance role, having worked with
Quality Center and QTP
. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to optimize
organizational effectiveness.
. Well-developed and effective communication skills, both written
and verbal (such as clear expression of thoughts, solid technical writing,
effective presentations to senior management and customers)
. Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new concepts and
complex procedures and to logically analyze those procedures to identify
potential problem areas.
. Ability to create Test Plans, develop and run automated and manual
test scripts, prepare defect tracking reports.
. Proven experience managing testers responsible for testing
integrated systems across organizational boundaries and automation of system
testing.
. Experience working with data management concepts and related
systems.
