SharePoint/Livelink Developer
Major Purpose of Job:
To design, develop, test, implement, and support software applications for
the SharePoint platform (MOSS 2007) and LiveLink Open Text Software from
user requirements and design documents under the direction of a Project
Manager
Essential Job Functions:
· Should have a good Understanding on document management on both
SharePoint\LiveLink·
Experience with SharePoint document management features allow organizations
to control document lifecycles
- how they are created, reviewed, published, secured, and consumed, and
ultimately disposed of or retained.·
Working Knowledge
- information discovery, content management, knowledge management, and
business process management·
Experience with Open Text Content Lifecycle Management Services for
Microsoft SharePoint
· Experience with MOSS 2007 sites· Experience with SharePoint Designer 2007.
· Provide strategic guidance on best practices for utilizing its
functionality.·
Experience with Infopath 2007· Experience using web part on both Platforms.·
Experience with SQL Server and Oracle connectivity·
Troubleshoot and resolve issues·
Must have the ability to work independently within a small team and follow
through on tasks· Independently troubleshoot and research challenging
problems· Work with end users and manage requirements.
Requirements: Skill Requirements·
3-5+ years technical SharePoint experience.
· 1-2+ years technical Livelink experience.
· Proficient in Document Management methodologies and procedures
· Knowledge and experience with Content Management methodologies and
procedures
· Proficient in Web Parts, InfoPath Forms and other SharePoint
customizations
· Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and
follow through on tasks
· Proficient with Windows Server 2003
· Experience programming SharePoint, SQL Server would be a plus
